1. Chribba at fanfest? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If for not Chribba being available outside of TQ uptime, should I be mad enough I might be developing a conspiracy theory that Chribba is actually a sentient AI spawned by the cluster. CCP could have hired an actor to cover this up so that the U.S...

2. Tibus Heth on his way out ? - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
The first sign of Heth being on the way out was the murder of Janus Bravour , in 2008. Since then, it hasn't been the question if he'll be gone, but when he'll be gone.

3. The empyrean age. (Novel) - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Many people have actually considered some recent plotlines in the live events to be "repairing" the events on the novels. Yes, they happened, and are so-called Prime Fiction. Most people, however, don't have knowledge of the events. (No, perverts ...

4. EVE ships sub light speed and star/planet gravity wells - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
EVE uses rocket ship physics. Ships in space have a maximum speed (<< c), and when their engines stop, they stop. Webifiers work by magic which saps engine power, therefore slowing the ship down (they are not tractor beams, they work omnidir...

5. Humans & Clones - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
When a battleship goes poof, in a lucky case a few hundred people, most of them young and fit, die. Deal with it. As for capsuleers, I would assume that it is technically possible to become a capsuleer the old-fashioned way, by having the capsule...

The best help would probably be offering to take some short-term security contracts elsewhere, freeing up corporate security personnel and logistics to deal with this.

8. EVE Online lasers - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
I think at one point (just after Trinity?) a combination of hull bonuses and enough heat sinks would produce a continuous beam. At least I do remember reading some patch notes that this was "fixed". (Probably something like tachyons on an Armagedd...

9. Can we turn off the new jump animation? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Something that might be possible to do: Have a toggle for the autofollow camera maximum rotational speed. That way, people who get sick on the "lets turn a 180" jump camera could have it turn slower. Not sure how that works with the jump animation...

14. Exorbitant Stations of EVE - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Some stations are still smaller (or seem to be constructed of some kind of modules). Stations actually used to be smaller, but then people complained that there was no way some ships could dock. One might still argue that there is no way the hundr...
